Aralar, motivation music, original folk rock music composed and produced by the author Joxe Bilbao.
Aralar is a song that mixes folk rock genres and is inspired in the surrounding of these mountains, in the megalithic monuments that emerge on them and in the legends that are told about the place.
The mountains of Aralar are located in the Basque Country between Gipuzkoa and Navarra and approximately forty kilometers from Pamplona.
San Miguel of Aralar is one of the places most frequented by mountaineering enthusiasts and has a sanctuary very visited by the curiosity aroused by the existing legends about the same. Legend has it that a cross-knight, Lord Theodosius of Goni, accidentally killed his own parents and in penance, chained himself alone on Mount Aralar but an apparition of the archangel Michael released him, the apparition left an image with a head which was disfigured by the French in the 17th century
Aralar has a large quantity of megalithic monuments, which indicates that the mountain range was inhabited by humans in prehistory, monuments include burial mounds, stone circles and menhirs, this archaeological evidence suggests that there was grazing in Neolithic times.
